There is a possibility of bruising. Bruising can be minimized by avoiding medications and products that thin the blood, such as aspirin, fish oil, ibuprofen, and alcohol for a few days prior to your appointment. You can pre-treat yourself with both oral and topical arnica, a homeopathic remedy. Arnica can lessen or reduce the chance and severity of a bruise.

In order to reduce the amount of bruising and/or swelling from the injection sites, please follow the instructions below:

• Avoid blood-thinning over-the-counter medications such as aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen, and Aleve for 1 week prior. Please consult your physician if you are taking aspirin for medical reasons.

• Avoid supplements including St. John’s Wort, Ginkgo Biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and vitamin E for 1 week.

• Avoid topical products such as tretinoin (Retin-A), retinols, retinoids, glycolic acid, or any 'anti-aging' products for 3 days prior.

• Do not drink alcohol for 24 hours prior to treatment.

• Reschedule your appointment if you have a cold sore.

No chaperones are permitted to attend the appointment with you. We have had to limit the appointment to one patient only. Please ensure you have childcare in place, as no children are permitted to attend appointments or enter the treatment room.

We accept most major credit and debit cards. Cash payments are also accepted on the day of your appointment.

Arrive at your appointment with a clean face - washed and without makeup.

Avoid drinking alcohol and engaging in strenuous exercise for 48 hours, as this may result in additional bruising and product migration. Until the swelling and redness have resolved, avoid intense heat in the treated area(s), including sunbathing, tanning, saunas, hot tubs, and hot wax. Also, avoid extreme cold, such as skiing or other winter sports. All aftercare instructions will be discussed in detail at your appointment.

Treatments are only offered to individuals aged 18 years or over. We regularly request proof of identification for anyone who looks under the age of 25. Therefore, please bring a valid form of ID, such as a passport or driving licence, with you.
